Assorted types of Iranian polyethylene pipes include single-wall water pipes, pressurized irrigation pipes, gas pipes from 20 to 3000 mm with wide applications, modern equipment and global production technology. The pressure in these pipes varies from 4 bar to 20 bar. However, 6 bar and 10 bar pipes are the main and the most consumed varieties. Self-colored and colorless PE100 and PE80 polyethylene materials manufactured in Iranian petrochemical plants are used to produce polyethylene pipes, and the use of PE100 has recently increased.
